Buy and install a Xitel Storm Patinum

I use my mini-disc player mostly for free music. I download MP3's and record them onto my Sony MZR-50
recorder. I used to copy them onto my MD recorder through an analog cable going from my speaker jack in the back
of my cpu, to my line in jack on my MD recorder. This method works okay but there was the issue of having to
manually insert track marks, and of course, analog static hiss. I needed a cheap solution.
This is where the XITEL STORM PLATINUM sound card comes into play. This sound
card not only gives you the power of a optical out port, but the 4-channel surround sound of A3D 2.0. I originally
bought it just for the digital port but fell immedietly in love with it. For only $79 I highly suggest
this card as a cheap solution. One other thing, if you only plan to use the card with a simple pair of speakers,
go the additional $20 and get the gamers pack which includes the Force Feedback Headphones.
